Background:
St Margaret's CofE (C) Junior School is located on a split site on either side of a cul-de-sac road in a semi-urban area, and serves the parish of Walstanton. The upper school, for children in Years 5 and 6, is housed in a Victorian building which has seen much internal alteration over recent years. Administrative offices and the lower school, for children in Years 3 and 4, occupy a 1970s building. Facilities include large playing fields and play areas with specialist equipment, and the school recently invested in a computer suite with 17 networked computers. Extra-curricular activities include art, dance, chess, music, drama, maths, ICT and sport.
