Background:
Built in 1966, the school is situated just outside Burton town centre, across the river Trent, where it occupies a two-storey building. Most of the classrooms are 'spacious' and the school grounds are 'small but attractive'. There are 'usually' two extra-curricular activites each evening, which are changed every term. They include kids club, French, football for boys and girls, tennis, hockey, athletics, cricket, karate and choir. Holy Rosary's 'strong' community links include collecting money for local and international charities and there are residential trips, including to France. The school is currently over-subscribed and receives an average of three inquiries a week.
