Background:
Park Hall Primary is situated on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent and serves the western part of Weston Coney. Housed in 'modern' buildings, it offers 14 'well-equipped' classrooms, a hall, gymnasium, dining room, library, music room and computer room. The school grounds adjoin the Park Hall Country Park and have playing fields, an all-weather pitch and conservation area. The school has a 'proud tradition' in the field of music, with an orchestra, choir and a 'wide range' of instrumental tuition. Extra-curricular activities include hockey, football, netball and athletics and the school enjoys a 'good' level of achievement in inter-school games and sports. Park Hall is regularly used by local scout, guide and brownie groups and during the harvest festival the school provides gifts for local senior citizens. The school aims to 'provide a secure, happy and stimulating learning environment' and to 'give the opportunity for each child to achieve their full academic, social, moral and physical potential'.
