Background:

Park Hall Primary is situated on the outskirts of Stoke-on-Trent and serves the western part of Weston Coney. Housed in 'modern' buildings, it offers 14 'well-equipped' classrooms, a hall, gymnasium, dining room, library, music room and computer room. The school grounds adjoin the Park Hall Country Park and have playing fields, an all-weather pitch and conservation area. The school has a 'proud tradition' in the field of music, with an orchestra, choir and a 'wide range' of instrumental tuition. Extra-curricular activities include hockey, football, netball and athletics and the school enjoys a 'good' level of achievement in inter-school games and sports. Park Hall is regularly used by local scout, guide and brownie groups and during the harvest festival the school provides gifts for local senior citizens.
