Mill Hill Primary School is a large school situated in Tunstall, which consists of private rented and council houses and flats. It was opened in September 2003. The new building benefits from the latest technology and allows the children to learn effectively in pleasant surroundings. The children are encouraged to appreciate the fun and value of exercise through taking part in a wide variety of physical activities, including games, gymnastics, swimming, athletics and dance. The school has several sports clubs, annual sports days and inter-house compietitions. The school aims to create a stimulating environment, which encourages enthusiasm for learning and promotes an expectation of high standards.
