Background:

The Mitchell High School is situated close to the centre of Stoke-on-Trent and serves the communities of Bucknall, Bentilee and Abbey Hulton. The school buildings are spacious and very well equipped with specialist resources for every department. The school has also redesigned much of the schools ICT resources to incorporate the growing demands of the modern and forward-looking curriculum. Its aim is to provide all students with a variety of opportunities to experience success in sporting activity. There are numerous activities offered to students at lunchtime: ICT club, choir/music rehearsals, library, drama club and chess club. The school aims to enable pupils to reach the highest possible levels of academic achievement.
